So this year for "Smiley" we were going to have a fun family party for birthday number 2. However I got really sick, so instead of one day of tons of fun, she got a week of spread out fun. she actually got 2 cakes. Mommy was not smart with the presents this year. A vacuum (loud!!!) Red Rover (very loud!!!!) But my little girl is very happy. It turns out birthdays are more fun when you get to celebrate for an entire week.
At her two year check up we found out that she is in the 10th% for height. 15th% for weight, and 75th% for head circumference. Our little tiny girl has a big personality to compensate for being little! Her favorite things to do are tell her big sister what to do. (which doesn't go over very well considering that big sister is still true to her name "Diva.") "Smiley" also loves to sing and dance. she LOVES mischief! Anything trouble, she figures out how to do it. She also loves to make everyone laugh, and make sure everyone is O.K. We love our little girl. Happy Birthday "Smiley"

"Energizer" Graduates!
So I've always thought it was really silly to do a graduation ceremony for Kindergartners, but I have to admit that it was really cute. My favorite part is that they had actual caps and gowns. Some parent donated them to the school a few years ago and so the school just buys the tassels every year and they let the kids keep those. It was so funny they did a little program that "Energizer" pretty much didn't participate in, and then they had them come up on stage one by one to get certificates for completing Kindergarten.
We are so thankful for the teacher "Energizer" had this year. She definitely went the extra mile for him and has gotten him the help he needed to be ready for first grade. We will miss her, but we are glad for the break in school. It has be quite the year.
The video is really shaky, we had to hold the camera over our heads. But you get the idea, he's the one in the back on our right.

Update on "Smiley"
So a vote was cast and the results are... wait for it... because I had to for too long... just kidding... Roseola.
She got the rash saturday afternoon. At least we know what it is now! And now it's over! The rash is pretty much gone, and she is feeling much better.

"Smiley"
So we spent the night in the emergency room last night! "Smiley" had a tempature of 103.6, we took her tempature again about fifteen minutes later and it had gone up to 104. By the time I had gotten to the hospital it had gone up to 104.6. She was breathing really fast and her heart rate was at 190, which they told me was really fast. Otherwise she had no other symptoms. They said that her heart rate should be between 120- 150, and that we couldn't be sent home until that went down. So we spent the next eight hours trying to break her fever. They gave her motrin which brought it down a little and then gave her tylonol that brought it down to 101. An hour later it was back up to 103, and her heart rate was still at 180. We covered her in cold wet rags, and then when it was possible they gave her tylonol and motrin at the same time. This finally broke her fever and we were sent home at 4:30 am.
Today she is cranky and a little wobbley, but she hasn't had any fever, and still no other symptoms. They ruled out bladder infection, any stomach problems, pnemonia, and menengitis. They had no idea what was wrong with her. They assumed that over the next couple of days she would start getting some kind of viral thing, which has yet to happen.
So.... any ideas? Has anyone heard of anything like this happening before?

"Diva's" Drama
Today I am going to copy a little and do a "Diva's" Drama!
So I'm sure it's hard to believe but my girls don't get along very well most of the time. (laugh) They are ALWAYS fighting for the spotlight! So you could imagine my surprise when the other morning I woke up to "Diva" talking to "Smiley" very sweetly.
Then I heard "Smiley" say "ma ma" To which "Diva" replies: "You want your ma ma, I don't know where your mommy is.... She died, she died baby!"
Such a proud moment as a Mother. My daughter is so full of love.

Diva's Birthday
OK... so, true to form the Royal Queen got royal treatment on her birthday. "Diva" got to dress up like a princess with her friends and have a tea party. (of course the boys didn't dress up) My husband said that picture made it look like "Diva" is dead, and I got so mad at him. Looking back he was so right! Oh well we needed the picture for the game that we played.
"Smiley" had fun with this one. She just couldn't figure out how to stick it on the right way. "Energizer" cheated, he was looking through the bottom of the hat. He tried to be sneaky, but he was way too obvious about it. "Diva" needed a little extra help, as you can see.
And then of course... what would a Princess Party be without the castle?
